Type locality: Tarkhankhut Peninsula, Crimea, southern Russia.
Type level: Upper Danian, Michurino Substage (corresponding to a single zone, the zone of few-chambered acarininas characterized by A carinina indoensis and Globoconusa daubjergensis (Bronnimann)).
Holotype Repository: Moscow, Inst. of Geol. Sci. of the Academy of Sciences
Holotype number: holotype (tf. l d-f) 3508/2.

Original Description: Translation from the Russian. - A globigerine-like Acarinina. Spiral side weakly flattened. Five chambers to a whorl. Aperture round, umbilicate.

Holotype size: Diameter 0.235 mm.. height 0.17 mm. (tf. 1 e-f)

Extra details from original publication: Differs from Acarinina praecursoria Morozova, 1957. and Acarinina schachdagica (Chalilov 1956) by its having fewer chambers per whorl, very little spinosity to the wall, and a smaller test.
