Original Description: Translation from the Russian. - Test strongly compressed along the axis, with a rounded lateral outline. Spiral side flat, umbilical side convex, subconical. Test formed by a spiral of two to three whorls, relatively slowly increasing in height. In the last whorl, there are from six to ten narrow chambers, tightly arranged. Chamber shape on the umbilical side triangular. Sutures depressed. Outer margin weakly scalloped, in the early part of the whorl angular, in the later part rounded. Umbilicus comparatively broad, deep. Aperture opens into the umbilicus. Wall moderately spinose. Sutures somewhat larger at the umbilical ends of the chambers and along the periphery, especially in the initial part of the last whorl. Surface rough.

Size: Greatest diameter 0.30, least diameter 0.23, height 0.14 mm.

Extra details from original publication: Variability. - The number of chambers per whorl and their degree of compression along the growth axis, which is subordinate to tllis feature, are variable.
Comparison - From the near species Acarinina praecursoria Morozova thls one differs by its more flattened test, the large number of chambers per whorl, and the less round form of the last and next-to-last chambers. The species described, evidently, stands at a hlgher degree of development than A. praecursoria Morozova, and resembles by the strong flattening of the spiral side and the angularity of the outer margin the intervaling (angular) acarininas A. angulata (White 1928) and A. conicotruncata (Subbotina 1947), from which it differs by its lower test, subspheroidal chambers of the globigerine type, and straight sutures, whlle in the species mentioned the chambers are compressed, as in the globorotaloids and truncorotaloids, and the sutures on the spiral side are oblique and slightly curved.
