Original description: Hedbergella asterospinosa Hamaoui 1965: Text small, concavo-convex, 4 to 6 chambers on the last whorl. Peripheral outline lobate, petaloid to star-shaped, axial periphery subangular to acute. The pointed extention of the chambers are usually tubulospinate. Wall texture generally recrystallized in granular calcite.
